Smug Mugs

Meet Rey Fuentes, Hurricane Baseball's new first base coach. He comes from Barry University, where I captured his personality in action a few years ago.

Mr Taylor Goes to Washington

With yesterday's trade of Jason Taylor to the Washington Redskins, the Dolphins parted ways with one of the team's all time greatest defensive players. More importantly, South Florida loses one of its all time people.

4th of July

I was going to post a fireworks photo from yesterday's celebration here in Coral Springs but the Everglades decided to send a twilight thunderstorm in our direction, canceling the show.

We are less than 60 days away from our first game at Dolphin Stadium, and the season can't start soon enough for me, in part to flush the bad memories of the 2007 season out of my head.
