
Tomorrow, the Seminoles of Florida State University come to town, and a post on the grassy.com message boards reminded me of the game between these two rivals in Tallahassee five years ago.
Both schools entered the matchup 5-0 but the 'Canes swam out of the rain soaked capital of Florida with a 22-14 victory, led by Jarrett Payton's 97 yards rushing and Kellen Winslow's 106 yards recieving. Sean Taylor added a 50 yard interception return for a touchdown.



The game was played in a downpour, and FSU's field drainage system failed, creating puddles of standing water all over the field.
